What does Urban PGM do?

Is Urban PGM a certified recycler?
Yes. We are registered with the Haryana Pollution Control Board, MOEFC and comply with the Hazardous Waste Management Rules, ensuring full legal and environmental compliance.
How is the price of a catalytic converter calculated?

The value of a catalytic converter is based on:

  • The estimated content of Pt, Pd, and Rh (using serial numbers, assay data, or visual inspection)
  • The live global metal market rates
  • Current exchange rates and processing costs

Urban PGM uses a proprietary database and AI-powered models to offer precise valuations.

Can I get a quote without visiting your facility?

Yes. You can get the Quote through Phone. Our Person can visit your Location and evaluate the converters.

What types of catalytic converters do you accept?

We accept:

  • Ceramic converters
  • Metallic substrates
  • DPF (Diesel Particulate Filters)

All must be free from oil, coolant, or major external contamination.

Do you offer pickup services?
Yes. We provide logistics support for bulk sellers across India. For smaller quantities, sellers can ship material directly after coordination with our procurement team.
Does Urban PGM offer training or consulting?

Yes. We offer:

Is it legal to sell catalytic converters in India?
Yes, but only through authorized recyclers like Urban PGM. Selling to unlicensed handlers is illegal and environmentally unsafe.
Do you provide compliance documentation?

Yes. We issue:

  • Waste manifest (Form 10)
  • Purchase invoices
  • Test reports (for large lots)
  • GST and legal paperwork, as per CPCB/SPCB norms
